We have a special treat this Saturday our fantastic market garden manager Joshua will be holding a rare workshop.
Josh has a good deep practical knowledge on the subject and comes from a family of well known gardeners on the Gold Coast, his 3 years of intensive practical commercial growing and years of research into vegetable and food production on the Gold Coast means he can give you lots of valuable tips and pointers on how to get growing.
If you are an experienced gardener and wish to know more about tropical bio intensive growing,or if your organic garden is not performing how you would like it too,Josh can probably offer some great insights.
The workshop will cover The soil food web, planning, rotation, soil health the use of composts and how to keep a garden fertile without the need of chemicals or fertilizers, intergrated pest management, site selection and everything else you will need to have a productive garden.
Before
One of Josh’s market gardens
Josh’s system of growing vegetables, organicaly and bio intensively is unique and was developed especially for Gold Coast conditions.
As you can see his sytems are hyper productive and leave traditional organic methods of muck and messy manures for dead.
Josh is usually found at the markets Saturday but we have arranged the day off for him so that we can get people ready for a great winter /spring garden season, which is the best time to grow veg on the Gold Coast.
Josh can also help you out with Permaculture style gardens and give you the key principals to get these started and keep them succesful. With dozens of these gardens already installed as well as many community and school systems,we think he is a great young leader in the organic field.
Simple easy to manage home gardens that are simple to install and easy to grow.As you can see they are very productive.

Garden business
Josh also has a very successful garden installation business for people who don’t feel confident they can do it themselves,he is happy to come out and give people a free quote, instal their garden from scratch and guide them through the process.
He has a simple system that takes the guesswork out of food production so people can enjoy a garden at home.
