Saturday 18 April 10am-12pm

Greg Plevey from Wormtec will introduce you to the basics of successfully growing organic vegetables that are far superior to commercially grown produce in both flavour and nutrients and  which also store better.  Greg will teach you the secrets to healthy organic garden soils including what our local soils are missing and how to fix them and the variety of vegetables that can be grown on the Gold Coast.   Bring along a soil sample and test both soil Ph and Brix levels on the day.
Greg’s microbial system have been actively trialed by GCP for the past 6 years, they form the foundation of our ecological gardening system.
Using biological and ecological systems increases a gardens performance and decreases your stress. The ecological/biological approach has greater water uptake and less stress from environmental factors .

The team at wormtec are constantly reviewing researching and experimenting in order to develop reliable and productive products and systems.A master class offered from a person of Greg’s experience would normally run into hundreds of dollars.Greg has kindly been sharing his wealth of knowledge with schools community groups and the public for many years and is a very long term supporter of food systems on the Gold Coast.Greg has the natural ability to explain the complex world of the soil food web so a beginner can enjoy the concept, and the ability to answer the deepest questions and needs of the professional horticulturalist.

The opportunity to have your soil read and brix testing is excellent for those who want to get an understanding of where their gardens are at.

Gregs unique worm extract products are incredible products,we feel they are without a doubt the best biological ammendments on the market, these will be for sale on the day at his very special and affordable prices.
